Susanne Callan-Harris, PT, MS, LLCC has a Bachelor of Science from St. John Fisher College of Rochester, NY and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University. She is certified in Lymphedema/Complex Decongestive Physiotherapy. She began her career in orthopedic pediatric physical therapy and has continued to expand her interest into performing arts medicine, oncology and lymphedema management.
Joanne Panzarella, PT, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University. She has 25 years of experience as a physical therapist, primarily in orthopedics, manual Physical Therapy and Osteopathic techniques. Her main areas of interest are the treatment of the spine and correcting neuromuscular imbalances. She is presently working towards a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through Daemen College in Buffalo. She has studied Tai Chi, medicinal plants, and indigenous Lifeways.
James M. Byers, PT, CLT holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Physical Therapy degrees from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Jim returns to Rochester from Pittsburgh, where he practiced in a chonic pain clinic. His main areas of interest include cervical/ lumbar spine and knee rehabilitation. Jim is active in swimming and spinning and has taught exercise classes for nearly 20 years.
Tracey Boccia, PTA, CLT, holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Genesee Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Geneseo. Tracey has a background in a variety of dance forms and has studied flute and cello; her area of interest is performing arts medicine. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and is trained in craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute. Tracey teaches the Fluid Motion and Core & More classes at CHPT and taught physical therapy for dancers classes for the Garth Fagan Summer Movement Institute and the Nazareth College Arts Center Dance Festival.
Cassondra Kubit, LMT, CLT earned an Associate of Applied Science from Monroe Community College, and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Additionally, she has studied herbal remedies through Australasian College of Health Sciences and craniosacral tehrapoy through Upledger Institute. Cassondra holds a purple belt in Tai Kwon Do.
Connie Nowakowski is a licensed insurance agent/broker with many years of experience in reimbursement and claims management. She is responsible for organizing the patient care from the initial referral to the discharge plans. She has supported many performing arts organizations over the years. Connie is President of the Love the Children of Rochester Adoptive Parent Support group. She also has a support group for families affected by cleft lip and palate.
Mary Jo Provenzano, RN, is a certified lymphedema and mastectomy fitter with more than 15 years experience. She established the in-hospital shops at Highland and Strong Memorial Hospitals for men and women with special needs such as lymphedeman and breast cancer. Mary Jo is a certified instructor in breast self-examination, and volunteers her services throughout the county. Mary Jo offers custom and off-the shelf compression and mastectomy products.
